We celebrated our wedding reception here. Tara was amazing! Every detail we spoke about was complete and then some. The staff was on top of everything. The dining area is beautiful and easily accessible for my mother in law in a wheelchair. The food was to die for! We did buffet style and everything was fresh hot and always full for our guests. I am in awe at how flawless the whole event went. Thank you to all your hard work and dedication. Highly highly recommend!!!

We’ve never had a bad meal, but one standout was the cheese wheel we shared on Valentine’s Day an indulgent, beautifully presented dish that was as delicious as it was memorable. My wife and I visited The Cashew Lounge for Father's Day after seeing it featured on WNEP Home and Backyard. We really wanted to try the Fried Burrata because it looked and sounded so good. We weren't disappointed, it was delicious. Our server, Kathy, was amazing. She made suggestions to help us decide on drinks and our food. We had the Fried Burrata, French Onion Soup, Bourbon Peach Pork Chop, and the Smoked Brisket special. Everything was delicious. We also had Creme Brulee and Banana Cookie Cheesecake that were amazing. The dining area is modern and open, with a really nice outdoor seating area as well with beautiful hanging plants. We highly recommend this restaurant. We took the time to speak to Michael Moran, the owner, to let him know how much we enjoyed our visit and our server, Kathy. We wish you continued success and we will be back to visit!

The cashew lounge is absolutely out of this world. Firstly the bartenders Tia, Katie, Murph, Frank, & Karen, they are out of this world. I’m never thirsty. Mike the owner kills it with his staff and the service. The chicken parm is to die for. My number one. It’s nice to go to the peanut bar for a beer and the cashew for food drinks with the family. You really can’t go wrong with this place. Congratulations Mike and Tara on a well run establishment.

If you're lookin' for a spot that wraps you in comfort and charm, the Cashew Lounge in Carbondale hits the mark. The atmosphere was absolutely outstanding—warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish. Although the weather kept us from enjoying the stunning deck seating (which looked like a slice of outdoor paradise), everything else more than made up for it. The meal? Pure deliciousness. Each bite was thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor, making it clear that this place doesn't cut corners in the kitchen. All in all, the Cashew Lounge delivers a top-notch experience—rain or shine.

Amazing food, found this restaurant on accident. Fried Burrata was incredible as was the French Onion Soup. Main course was the grilled peach pork chop, wow. Service was outstanding. It's a restaurant on one side and a bar on the other, two completely different vibes with very different but equally good menus.

What isn’t there to love about the Peanut Bar and Cashew lounge? Pride of ownership shines throughout this establishment right from the fast, friendly service and the quality of food they serve. The peanut bar is comfortable and offers a large menu of delicious food. The cashew lounge provides me of an upscale feel and is perfect for private events. Tonight we opted for the peanut bar side of the house and enjoyed adult chicken parm (cooked to perfection) chicken wonton soup and the Bubba fries. Everything we had was simply incredible and I don’t know that I’ll be going anywhere else next time I’m in the mood for an authentic pasta dish. This isn’t just a bar, this is the best place around for food and all around atmosphere. A true Carbondale staple and the community is so lucky to have them!
